Joe Chantos started making Kielbasa and Hungarian Sausage when his grandparents died and no substitute could be found for their home-made meats. Soon afterward he quit his day job and now ships the stuff all over. In the community since 1978, this local corner grocer specializes in Hungarian and Polish smoked and fresh Kielbasa, Jerky meat sticks, Klazka, Hurka made fresh in the store. They also have deli items and a small supply of groceries.

I so Love the Landjerger fresh sausage along with the fresh Hungarian Sausage which I smoke on the grill low n slow over Cherry wood a must try. You must pay a visit to this hidden gem downriver which folks drive from a hour away and have holiday meats shipped across the nation.

With the population of the city near 30 percent Hispanic this place has exploded over the last year opened into the main shopping n eating spot downriver. No need to drive back to Mexican Town this family set up shop from the Barrio to make all the residents happy. The selection and prices are mucho better then those large chains on the mega selection of meats.
I’ve been a regular since opening the Tacos only a Buck each every Tuesday and a Quarter more the rest of the week. The unique Torta sandwhich are a must try along with Carnitas n Barbacoa.
The owners are super friendly with the son runs the meat and restaurant side which is a large dining area with a couple dozen seats. The selection of foods,meats,veggies,sauces, and Mexican Beers are the very Best in all of downriver.
We Love they will make special order as I just had my Gringo Burgers 1.5 lb Chuck, .5 lb Hot Chorizo blended and grilled on the flat top OH my it be great. They special cut meats and cater for parties along with whole Hogs.
